Need help placing an order?

While most of our dorm essentials are interchangeable, some of our items are built or made to specific dorm specs and living spaces in contemporary or traditional dorms. We want to make sure that your purchased items are for the correct dorm and ask that you contact us with your order. This helps us stay organized and the opportunity to discuss pick up, delivery or give accurate shipping quotes. Hopefully, you enjoy the personalized one on one customer experience.

Once we have your items finalized and ready for invoice, we ask for half down to secure your order, and the remaining balance (less any deposit paid) will be due the week before pickup, delivery or being shipped to you.

Of course, I would love to help with organizing your dorm room or off-campus living space! Our number one goal is to make the process as smooth as possible. Whether you are interested in purchasing one item or an entire room, there are never any consult fees. Please, don't hesitate to reach out with your questions because that's exactly what I am here for. I can help offer solutions or suggestions on which items work best for your space. 

When would be the best time to start planning our design?

It can never be too soon to begin the process. Once you are committed to your university, we love to get started! We ask for a $100 initial deposit per roommate, this secures your dorm build "spot" and will be applied to your final balance. We can discuss your wants/needs, budget concerns, color palettes and personal style. This helps us understand each other's expectations. Once you go through the process for dorm and room selection, we can hit the ground running. I have the floor layouts and room schematics on Ole Miss dorms, or we can use residence hall dorm packet from your university website to plan. 

Does Loose Ends 38655 offer dorm installation on move in day?

We have had several ask for this service and want to ensure we are available to all our clients. We offer a very limited number of complete installation spots for Fall 2025 at the University of Mississippi. If interested, we are open to discuss those package options at time of consultation. Most clients pick up their items or have them delivered, choosing self-installation as part of their college experience.

What does move in day look like?

CrAzYyyyyy! NO, seriously! We strive to make move in day organized and run as smooth as possible for our clients. ALL items ordered through Loose Ends 38655 are stored for you and available on your assigned move in day or a prearranged day/time. We ask that you be patient with everyone you come in contact with and share some grace, as many of those helping during move in are students themselves.

The University of Mississippi does offer help and assistance during campus move in (please, see your housing portal for select days/times.) I suggest labeling all your products/boxes with your student's name, dorm and room number, along with their contact number. 

Dorm furniture pieces are larger and heavier than they appear! Especially, our cubbies and fridge cabinets. We suggest that you keep that in mind when selecting pick up or having items delivered to your dorm. We suggest open bed trucks for large items and bringing moving blankets to protect your furniture.

Mississippi heat and humidity results in unpredictable weather, beyond our control. To avoid the risk of accident or damage, rain will cause delays in pick-up/delivery.

Need help with delivery?

I can share local references that have worked alongside our business for years. For your convenience, they verify your order and coordinate with us for a smooth process. You must set up delivery with them before moving day and we suggest getting on their lists before they fill up. Last minute delivery decisions will be delivered at the end of the day on availability basis.

We are not responsible for damages and cannot guarantee delivery by a certain time. Again, please be patient. Know that your items will be delivered as soon as possible, as they must navigate the same hectic traffic and follow campus rules. 

*Custom Fabrics, Artwork and Glass will only be available for pick up unless arranged for delivery by your delivery team.
